Well, from all accounts (and I've met a few myself). They seem like nice, honest people. If you didn't know about the Travelers and their scams, you'd certainly trust them to do handyman work.
I've actually seen their little compound in North Augusta. All the houses look the same (I imagine they have one set of plans, and they all use it to build their house).

I've been through their part of North Augusta, too. As I recall, they generally had very large, showy homes. Odd thing was, many didn't even live in their own house. They lived in a trailer behind their house. The men drive big expensive, new trucks. It's like everything they do is for show.
