"I ask because here in TX, I've seen folks walk in vote without showing any ID at all" No ID checks while voting in California either.
Do you have to show an ID in any state??? I wish they did here, it only makes sense.

It seems to be a legal requirement to show an ID in some states (Texas included), but it is apparently a seldom-enforced rule.
But, we should in no way be surprised by this.
Immigration laws are virtually ignored - even now.
Campaign finance law is an utter joke.
And, obviously, NO LAWS applied in any way to President #42.

No ID checks while voting in California either. And, if Prop 52 passes, people will be able to register at the precints on election day and immediately cast a real ballot (!) with a utility bill -- no need for proof of citizenship or verification of eligibility, let alone a photo ID. Once the ballot is cast and the voter goes home, it is nearly impossible to prove voter fraud and impossible to "undo" ballots from ineligible voters.
I have seen very little media attention on the California propositions, most of which are for more bonds (more taxes), and almost nothing about Prop 52.
Spread the word: Vote No on 52.
