I suspect it's simpler than that. The Marxists are, by nature, self-loathing and despise the truth. Thus, they need only decide what is true, or what is in their best interests, and clamor for the opposite. This goes for the "masses" as well as their "bourgoisie" leaders, such as, uh, what's his name? Oh, yeah: uh, John Dasher (sp?) [or whatever the irrelevant bastard's name is].

So far, I've never seen this theory proven wrong.
