Thanks for the ping. She put into words what we all feel about the great President we have now and the snake that slithered out of there before him. The snake left the office like he had treated it - dishonored.

Hey, she received a signature from a real President. Glad you knew what a worthless piece of scum inhabited the Oval Office at the time. I took me a couple of years to really notice.

I might add to my anecdote, it was my understanding that Clinton refused to sign Unit Citations.

I wonder WHO was behind that? I think it's wonderful and a great keepsake. I wouldn't want anything with his signature afixed to it, either. I'd forgo recognition to be able to stay away from him.

Hey, that looks genuine...what kind of photo op is this?

Seriously, great photo, thanks for posting it.

I normally like Letterman, but his syncophancy disgusted me that night, as did Clinton, with his smarmy "blow" jokes on 9/11 and his attempts to claim he'd done so much to stop Osama, even holding three meetings a week to discuss him. Really? Is that why he turned down the offer from Sudan to take him on a silver platter, and why he met with his own CIA chief ONE time in eight years, far fewer times than he met with Monica?

Every time I see that preening, conscienceless egomaniac getting cheers, applause and standing ovations from a New York audience, like he did on "Late Night," I just want to scream at those New Yorkers, "You damned IDIOTS! This is the guy whose dereliction of duty CAUSED that smoking hole where the WTC used to be! If he'd done his job, your friends and relatives would still be alive, and you're applauding him! Are you absolutely insane?!"

I thanked the good Lord for this good man and this good woman who are leading us now. I thanked Him for our President's strength of character and I thanked Him for his wife who stands by his side, strengthening his resolve to lead us through these dark days yet to come.

What can I add to this sentiment? Nothing!

Thanks for the ping, Wphile!

Thanks, all of you, for the Letterman commentary. I missed it all -- I was on vacation.

New York seems to act like an abused wife/girlfriend that just can't seem to get out the relationship. And Clinton the abuser.

Great read! Thank you. Clinton was rendered irrelevant on 9/11, but he doesn't realize it. When the best gig he could get on 9/11 was on a late night talk show cleverly talking about "blowing" in his music room, he's hit rock bottom. Think about it -- no network news interviews and no invitation to be present at the WTC site for the memorial service.

Sadly, you give them to many upper case letters when typing about them. They earn the upper case letters, they are not passed out at random. Democrat=democrat,

You are dead wrong. DemocRAT is DemocRAT.

And if he had been able to run for a third term he would have won in a landslide. That is truely frightening. How can people be so damn stupid?

That picture of President Bush and the retired fireman was taken at Ground Zero soon after the 9-11 attack.

What an excellent article she wrote. I read it earlier. She has it down pat.

President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush both have character and that speaks for itself.

Clinton has no class or character or he would have kept a low profile on the anniversary of 9-11 instead of appearing on some stupid late night talk show. That says a lot about him.

Notice I didn't put his name on the same line with our dignified President Bush?

Hillary Clinton stood at the podium and began to speak more names. I watched as those brave men around me turned their backs to the television and began to walk away. Many shook their heads in disgust

Bump.

Yes, I noticed. What a symbolic contrast!

His distateful appearance reminded me of the day of the Memorial Service at Wash. Cathedral a year ago.

The mood was solemn...yet who was there at the door at the end greeting everyone with a goofy smile and handshake? You guessed it...and even though everyone else was filing out silently he WOULDN'T LEAVE!!
