want some insight from a little different angle? I worked at Kohls part time in the evenings for awhile a couple of months ago. Their policy is to return ANYTHING, so it surprises me to hear that they rejected her. They figure that this will make people happy and will make up the money lost by having more people shop there because of their policy. I am guessing that this woman was trying to bring back a stolen item, and was pissed when it didn't work. She then took it out on her child. That little girl looked like a sweetheart too.

Too bad they didn't return it for her, as they would have her driver's license # and name, among other things.

How far, in a typical store, would the security office be from the parking lot at the front of the store?
