Maybe its time to consider cutting ties with the idiots that twice plunged the world into war during the twentieth century. Do these people even have a clue about right and wrong?

"It's one that Hitler used"
I think this is the Marxist line - Hitler didn't do what he did even though he said he would do just what he did for years, but he did it because of a "crisis in capitalism" blah, blah, blah.

Herta's the b!th condemning Americans by holding terror info hostage, yet claims it is because the US condemns people to death in the courts. She also says all Europe thinks that way... except they do assisted Suicide in Holland, Switzerland, legalized drugs and prostitution and what not other life peddling business. So we cannot have a due process, but they can be emotional barbarians over there,

I just emailed the following to the German Embassy:
How DARE your justice minister Herta Daeubler-Gmelin compare our president to the most evil man of the 20th century? Her vicious, disgusting statement will not quickly be forgotten by the American public, nor by the Bush Administration! It is precisely this sort of pure, visceral hatred on the part of the Schroeder government that is going to ensure that you will all be working for Edmund Stoiber come Monday morning.

What "domestic problems" does Bush need to divert attention from?
Stock market? BFD. Everyone knows it goes up and down, and the corporate malfeasance that have led to the latest extended bear market occured under Klinton. That dog won't and hasn't hunted.
Unemployment? It's not up significantly.
So what is it, fraulein?

Well the sonsabitches would be familiar with Hitler, wouldn't they. I thought that the German people had nothing to do with WWII and they didn't know what Hitler was up to?

Germany is worried that when we take Iraq (not "if"), we will find all the German technology sold to Iraq (in defiance of the Embargo) by the Spike Heads for purifying fissionable materials.
Alot of other countries share similar concerns. And as W said, "You're either with us, or you're with the terrorists."
Krautville is sweating bullets. Tough.

I have a theory that Germany was deeply involved with the planning of the WTC and Pentagon bombings and that the US is now threatening to expose the Germans. It's the only thing that makes sense.

Who's this Daeubler-Gmelin dame? I thought Schily was German Justice Minister.
To: Pokey78
I think that Herta Daeubler-Gmelin was trying to deflect the criticism that the Germans are acting in exactly the same manner as they did in 1936 when Hitler was gaining power, denying his evil intent and turning their idol backs on his behavior until it was too late.
I see the German people as much the same as the Clinton voters. They don't want to be bothered with gov't, they don't want anyone to rock the boat or require them to get involved.
I read an article yesterday that said that the German economy was extremely weak. My guess is that the German press is somehow blaming this on America in a bizarre twist of, "It's the economy, stupid."

No matter what good this country does, it just keeps getting the short end of the stick from just about everyone.
And I, for one, am sick and tired of it.
This particularly galls me. Consider:
WE saved countless German lives via the Berlin Airlift.
WE were responsible for bringing the end of the cold war.
WE were responsible for the unification of Germany.
And, now to have some German politician compare OUR president with Hitler???
Yeech!!!
