Stick to being a Constitutional Republic and let the rest of the world go their own way as long as they leave us alone.But does any country really leave us alone, not providing any influence on us in anyway?
These United States are NOT papa to the world and we have no business trying.
My point is that people behave best when they are compelled to do so. There is nothing wrong with disciplining a child, a classroom, a company or a foreign country that steps out of bounds. In fact, the lack of discipline has boosted many of our current world problems.
So you are happy with the prospect of being the "big Daddy" to the world? WHERE IN THE CONSTITUTION is the authority for that? Please be specific. Yours is one of the most despicable attitudes it has been my misfortune to see in quite a long while. Please go and re-read the Founding Documents for this country and see if the Founders wanted us to be an empire or a Constitutional Republic. Hint: they had just dumped the King of England and head of the British Empire....
