Sassy, I am very happy to report that my uncle called this morning and sounded fantastic! Last night he was still unable to talk real clearly because of the effect of the tubes in his throat, but today his voice was strong! I feel like the power of prayers I received from all of you has worked once again.

I missed yesterday's opening until today. my gosh, it was absolutely beautiful! VFW is one of my favorite organizations and I wish I had been able to participate more. Ditto on today's thread.

Thanks so much for the flowers! I will be sure to tell uncle George about them. They moved him out of ICU this afternoon! He is cracking jokes as always.....such a colorful character I can't repeat most of them here! :)
