The girlfriend works for a local "high-tech" company, a subsidiary of a VERY large multinational corporation. One of her cow orkers (prior to 9/11, at least) is/was a particularly obnoxious politically-correct female who has caused problems for the "FOAF's girlfriend" and others with her complaints to management about anything that happens to offend her carefully groomed "sensibilities".
This critter apparently is shacking up with some sort of raghead (either because she's so fat no American would have her, or because she thinks he's politically correct, or whatever). Anyway... in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, while everyone in the office was in shock - and here may I remind everyone of the priceless Rumanian proverb, "Every bird dies by his tongue" - this viperous specimen flounced into the office and announced, publicly, "Oh, what's all the excitement about. We knew this was going to happen weeks ago.".
Well... (and none of this ever made it into the papers, BTW) - the resulting call to the FBI by the "FOAF's girlfriend" resluted in the aforementioned raghead-f***er being visited AT WORK by the FBI, removed to a private room for a "consultation", and interrogated in a manner which according to reports left her in a condition of nervous prostration truly a delight to behold. (I believe she, or rather it, was also subsequently suspended from its position). (No reports on what happened to the aforementioned raghead itself...). Anyway... pegging gloat-ometers notwithsatanding, it has since nagged me that knowledge of the plans for 9/11 were apparently floating around in the "Islamic Scummunity" here in Portland, well in advance of 9/11 - even to the extent (assuming the story is true, admittedly) that this American whore knew about it and didn't report it.
And of course, in the aftermath of 9/11, and subsequently to this very day, our Communist mayor, Vera "Gladys Kravitz" Katz, has shown no concern whatsoever for the cesspool of terrorism breeding here, all the while only continually cautioning and pontificating, in that whining, grating tone of hers, against "mistreatment" of "ethnic minorities"...
