If it was frequented by you as a young child it could not have been of no consequence TO YOU as a young child. The older I get, the kinder these memories are.

Indeed, you are right. It was the highlight of our early grade school social lives to get to Forey's, by bike or foot. He was a barrel-chested proprieter, always wore kind of dirty white T-shirts and suspenders, kinda scary as he towered over us li'l punks, but he tolerated us pretty well, looking the other way as we sat atop the ice cream cooler and generally hanging around.

Well, me oh my, I've got a headache from moving my monitor to a 7-1/2" elevated stand so I could see it without slouching. Think I'll check out for a while.
