McVeigh & Nichols & Fortier were/are what could be described as ultra-conservatives

Read about him and you'll find out that McVeigh was a complete eco/PETA - nut and an avowed atheist. The ultra-conservative BS was just a spin put on by the Clinton Gestapo to demonize us. And we let them.

Conservativism is not Fascism. They just want you to think it is.

I've read quite a bit about him. He was a follower of Robbie Matthews, a white supremacist who killed the talk radio host Alan Berg (see the book "Silent Brotherhood"). He carried around the book "The Turner Diaries" written by that American Nazi scumball that just died. When arrested he was wearing a tee shirt with a "wanted" posted of Abraham Lincoln over the motto "Sic Semper Tyrannis," which were John Wilkes Booth's words after he leapt from the balcony. The reverse os the t-shirt had the motto, "The roots of the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." He and his pals listened to William Cooper's diatribes on shortwave on WWCR (Worldwide Christian Radio), an ultra-right station. They hated the UN, and hoarded silver coins.

You need to distinguish "ultra-conservative" from "conservative." The GOP is the party of Lincoln, not these warmed-over Bircher types that probably in the old days would have been racist Southern Democrats.
