It's medical regression that would create new life solely for the purpose of using it for spare parts.

I know you meant to say - "Religious agendas should not be interferred with using state powers---" Didn't you?
Or maybe "Murder should not be condoned for medical progress by using state power." OK, that's the one.

Absolutely, think of all the successful people with happy worthwhile lives who die because they don't get a heart, lung or kidney transplant. Think of all the pathetic, worthless retards and homeless with perfectly functioning organs which we could harvest. In fact, if we don't hustle, China will take the lead and America will miss out on the Nobel Prizes sure to be issued. Its just that outdated Judeo-Christian morality standing in the way of progress again. <>

"Hooooray! Someone had the guts to say that!" Yeah, and I'll bet you think Dr. Mengele was a boon to humanity, too.

"...I gotta agree with Reeve, medical progess should not be interfered with by religious agendas using state power....." Josef Megle was in agreement with that too!

Perhaps you'd like to donate some of your own spinal cord tissue for the cause of medical progress?
If not, that's fine, can't begrudge you for that.
At least you're in a position to decline the opportunity.

From the article:
"If we'd had full government support, full government funding for aggressive research using embryonic stem cells from the moment they were first isolated, at the University of Wisconsin in the winter of 1998 - I don't think it unreasonable to speculate that we might be in human trials by now."
I reckon he don't know about what happened when they used fetal stem-cells on some patients. They got much worse and the doctors couldn't do anything about it.
They have had good responses from adult stem-cells. And more from umbilical cord stem-cells.

And no one should use the states power to tax to force the religious to support medical research they find objcetionable.
