While we were on our tour, the girls were really looking forward to staying with some friends in Utah. They have a dozen or so rare Arabian horses. Unfortunately, most of them had suddenly come up lame from bad shoeing. There would be no extended riding trips.
So did these kids complain? Nope. Instead, they spent days at a time caring for the horses.
They left in tears.
