I had a pleasant day today. A freeper (huck) from Parkersburg who is in the National Guard, came down today and he and my hubby, son and self, had lunch together. He's a really nice guy and easy to talk to. That's the first time I've ever had a chance to sit down and really carry on a conversation with another freeper. He comes down pretty frequently so I'll get to see him from time to time. He's going to bring his wife down too.

My next door neighbor has a grand-daughter who, like you, turned 10 this month. She, too, is a very special young lady and she also likes the color purple. When she visited her granny over spring break, we all went shopping and everything she selected had purple in it. It was such fun, helping look for purple things.

Would you believe that my better half has had me working at the studio and I can't even get to the painting. I'm almost in panic mode, but I work pretty well under pressure.
