Law enforcement owes society at least a running start!! Agree!

These animals are released rather than removed from society. When will we learn.....

...he was released from prison after serving 15 years for kidnapping and raping a Wooster teen-ager. Why only 15 years? Why was he released?

Well, in Ohio the following is suppose to happen:
Sexual offender notification laws vary by state. In Ohio, offenders must register with the county Sheriffs office. Depending on the nature of the offense, police will notify the closest neighbors to an offender. In other cases, neighbors, real estate agents and other interested persons may contact police for information, or find such information posted on the Internet.
I guess each Sheriff's department uses different methods for notification.
btw: that Janet Napalitano sounds like a nutcase.

That is a good question...if I find an answer...I will post it.

Found this:
Yockey was released from prison in March after serving 15 years of a 10-25 year sentence for the rape and kidnapping of a 17-year-old Wayne County girl.

There are few things left in life that are quite so pleasant as sitting and enjoying a beautiful sunset, smoking a good cigar, sipping a fine whisky and listening to the satisfying sound of 3/4", pre-stretched and well oiled fine manila hemp rope, creaking under the strain of a 220 pound degenerate pervert twisting slowly about in the evening breezes.
[Boot snaps out of reverie] But this is 2002 America and we are far too civilized to do anything that barbaric to someone who only rapes and dismembers 14 year old girls.
Hang 'em high
Or let 'em fry
Make no difference to me
But if you jail 'em
Sure as shootin'
One day they will be free
Regards,
Boot Hill

Thanks for your response.
Unfortunately, stories such as this are all too common, predators let loose to prey on society at large.

Damn good question.
To: ResistorSister
Rapists like this guy are also sadists--he would have used a stick or his fists on her so castration isn't the answer. Just lock them up and throw away the key. BTW the parents seemed to be friendly with him despite his background--wonder if that set the kid up to be taken.
To: foreshadowed at waco
Where did you see that the parents were friendly with the murder?
To: redsoxallthewayintwothousand2
We can start by rounding up anyone in their forties who lives at home with his parents. lol aint that the truth that is a dead give away they may not be real stable
My 45-year-old single son took me in when I had no place else to go, and has financially supported and taken care of me for five years. This Mom is grateful. I live with HIM. Just goes to show you can't generalize about everything.
To: greyfoxx39
your right but lets face facts if a son lives with his parents in their mid forties they usually are not the highest of acheivers

That doesn't help with a lot of these people. It's a power thing. They'd just use a bottle or stick or something. Pedophiles have a 96-98 percent relapse rate. They need to be put down like mad dogs.
To: TheLurkerX
Pedophiles should not be released from prison, if they aren't going to be given the death penalty. With a relapse rate that high, it is not worth the risk of other innocent lives. These people give up their right to live a normal life the moment they make the conscious decision to harm another person.
The FBI says that there are probably close to 50 serial killers (one for each state) roaming around the United States, preying upon people. Rarely are serial killers ever caught, when one looks at how many there probably actually are. There is also new evidence coming out that serial killers may not stalk and kill the a specific population of people, as they have always been believed to do. There are thousands of missing people in the United States--the majority of those people are probably dead, they just don't disappear into thin air. Serial killers get caught when their obsession with killing people becomes less methodlogical and more sloppy. Some serial killers have also been known to just turn themselves into the police, because they just got bored with their sick game, and were too smart to leave a trail of evidence and get caught by the police.

"The neighbors said they had no idea that a sex offender was living in their neighborhood."Because of Megan's Law, it is now very easy to find out if there are sex offenders living in your neighborhood. Every sex offender must be registered with your local police department and are not allowed on either school or church property. Sex offenders are also not allowed to live within 100 meters of a school.

They need to start holding the parole boards accountable when these scum are let out and murder/rape/ and generally spread havoc on the public. I am serious about this. They should be prosecuted for endangering the public!
