The fact that Talent is so "talented" will hurt him in MO. People in MO believe in supporting the "common man" in the tradition of Andrew Jackson and HST. I do not think Talent can win because his "talent" intimidates the average man on the street. Senator Robert Taft, R-OH, could not win the presidential reason for much of the same reason: his sharp intellect intimidated Republican rank-and-file voters.
