The Kennedys aren't intelligent enough to start a business. I truly believe the Kennedys out there today are truly ignorant, stupid people.

Mrs. Townsend, Maryland's personable lieutenant governor "Personable" is an unnecessary--and subjective--adjective. This sounds more like "The Washington Post," where the reporters are paid by the word, than "The Washington Times."

Seriously, the WT has to be one of the most biased newspapers in the country. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I like biased newspapers.
Anyways, it's interesting that the Washington Times uses "personable" in an article, not surprisingly, to refer to an OPPONENT of Kathleen Kennedy Townsend:
http://www.washtimes.com/metro/20020912-86059000.htm
"Maryland Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend's name recognition and sizable war chest kept some political heavyweights on the sidelines, but they weren't enough to scare off a retired grocery-store clerk seeking the Democratic gubernatorial nomination."
Thus we see the set up. She has only name and money behind her. Personable, where art thou?
"By contrast, her Republican opponent, Rep. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr., 'is an able, smooth manipulator and an expert in manipulating symbols,' Mr. Herrnson said. 'He is a candidate that is very personable and likable, and people are likely to see him as a moderate when elections roll around.'"
If the WT writer is being paid by the word, and sharing subjective impressions, he just hit the jackpot.

.........sounds more like "The Washington Post,"........ Yes! Wasn't THAT a strange intro to the story? The rest was informative and fact-based.
I live in Virginia and from what I've heard of Kathleen from the Wash. Times, she's a failed Lt. Gov. and has botched a number of projects and agencies she's been left in charge of. This, of course, hasn't stop her from running and the Demon-rat media-machine from pushing her campaign.

"Some analysts are wondering whether the latest generation of Kennedys has lost the family's aura of invincibility."
Duh, maybe even Demoncrats are waking up. Trash comes in all colors, inocme levels and genders. The Kennedy's are nothing more than wealthy, white trash with illegal bootlegging as the source of their wealth and power. Believe it or not but that's how they started out - making money illegally.

Maryland's personable lieutenant governor, To describe Kooky Katie as "personable" is to torture the English language beyond recognition.

One has to wonder why. Do the Kennedys invite the downtrodden to the "compound", say for a day of sailing, a cookout or perhaps they underwrite a ski trip in the winter? Used to watch Boston TV news and every year there would be a news story for Rose Kennedy's birthday party at the Vineyard.
As the camera panned the crowd the only minorities present had serving trays in their hands. I cold always imagine the Kennedy's saying, "Let them eat cake."
