Interesting. I wonder if he might have been told by the White House that he was speaking out of turn and was disrupting their strategy of timed announcements? Or maybe it's part of the plan, but that's really all they want to say right now.
They don't gain from opposing the war, and they know it. Their strategy hinges upon delaying the war until after the November elections. After that, they will go along with the president. They are terrified that, if we are already at war by Election Day, the country will rally around the president and take a step to the right. With the Senate majority only one meager (stolen) vote, and many races (such as New Jersey) very close, the dems are trying every tactic in their ample book to slow Bush down. The good news is, the tide of events won't wait for little Tommy Dasshole. I think we'll get our war and our senate majority back.
I think it's very doubtful that Leaky Leahy has a role in carrying out Bush's plan.
His statement about WN likely was fortuitous.
I have an exceptionally horrid image in my mind for a commercial. Still, it would be appropriate.
Image the video of Tom Daasshole stating "We should wait to see what the UN does" then fade in with an image of a jet slamming the WTC. Then show Tom Daasshole stating "I'm not convinced" or something like that. Fade to an image of thousands running in panic from the ash heap of what was downtown Manhattan. Show Tom Daasshole stating "President Bush has not made his case yet". Fade to an image of the towers collapsing, people screaming in horror. Fade to black.
Tom Daasshole and the Democrats: Some people will never learn.
Vote for the future of our country in November.
Politicized? Highly inflamatory? Yes, then again, so is putting Democrat politics over the well being and future of this country.
