This is truly weird. Presumably the intention is to drive a wedge of mistrust and dislike between Jews and Evangelicals, and as such it makes a bit of sense. But I fail to see what interest World Net Daily has in driving this wedge, or in encouraging the Jews to abandon Israel.

Certainly the argument makes no logical sense. If you believe that the Jews are God's chosen people, then they should follow the Covenant and trust in Him. Even if many of them die, it's better to die obeying God than defying Him. If you don't believe in God--as this writer apparently doesn't--then there's no reason to think that these are the "end times."

This piece is foolish, politically stupid, and malicious.

Apart from being an understatement, you are spot on.

You are correct. Some people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Others go ahead and publish as DeMar did.

There's been quite a bit of that going on. It comes down to, "Jews, don't trust Christians, even though they support Israel very strongly. They just want to get you killed to fulfill some prophesies of theirs."

Utter nonsense.

NOt sure about the malicious part but I agree with the first two. It is so stupid that it borders on being malicious but malicious to me implies some kind of bad motive/intent, which I am not picking up on. Just silly stupidity kind of like a Chicken little story.
