terilyn, have you ever checked the Strib talk forum? Holy Horsepoop! Every conservative there has been bounced. It is 6 or 7 smug, bike riding lefties just stroking themselves and each other. There's a Vikings thread, and one of the posters had some pictures of various gatherings ... the two major moderators (Tony O'Brien and Jenny) were partying with most of the left wing goofballs!!! They're all buddies. How unprofessional is that paper?
I will wager that there is a group of reporters digging for an October surprise on Coleman. Every malconent is telling their story right now. That's what they do. Remember Grams' kid getting arrested for kidnapping? Top of the fold, "Grams arrested for kidnapping and drugs" and they put a picture of the SENATOR next to the first column. I ripped Lou Gelfand a new one about that. That guy is catatonic. The Strib is a Dem house organ, and they want Wellstone to win in the worst way. I keep getting telemarketing calls from their circulation call center ... I explained the only toilet-connected circumstances I would ever use their newspaper but they just keep trying.
I haven't checked out their online forum. It does sound like horsepoop and I think I'm glad I haven't. Thanks for the warning!
When they call my house, (about once a week), to try to practically give away their crappy paper to me I laugh and laugh and then when they ask what's so funny I tell them I wouldn't take their liberal piece of trash excuse for a paper if they paid ME to take it. I tell them I won't let my husband bring it in the house any more. I tell them I tried to put it under the cat's litter box and even the cat refused to get near it until I removed it. I ask them how much the DNC is paying them to print their propoganda for them.
Then they call again the next week...stupid liberals.
