Riordan? Dear God, no, I did not like him at all. His views are polar opposites of mine, and - even worse - he betrays his own party at the drop of a hat. He really should run as a Democrat - be honest about what he believes in. Yet he takes opposing views on almost all main party platforms, he funds Democrats running against his own "party" candidates, and I just think Riordan would have been a weak candidate against Davis.

I would. Bill Simon would make an awesome Governor.

I guess Liberal viewpoint is standing in the way of you seeing that. Read his life story without political blinders and you will see that Bill Simon is an able and honest man and one who cares about kids and family and is devoted to his church, faith and worthy charities.

On the issues, I just think he is nailing them all, and has the managerial skill and tempermant that Davis lacks to actually run the state well. ... and not screw up things to the tune of $20 BILLION.

I live in Texas. I'll vote for our Repub Gov here, but I would rather cast it for Bill Simon in CA. He's a great guy and would be good for Cali.
