[history]
Albert Gore III, the 19-year-old son of former Vice President Al Gore, was arrested near the Pentagon last week by U.S. military police from Fort Myer and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, and possession of alcohol by a minor.

The article failed to mention that "young" Gore was kicked out of St. Alban's for weed when he was a freshman, and Friends School was strongarmed into taking him. "Young" Gore broke the Gore tradition of Alban's alumni. He is a troubled kid, no doubt. This story will only appear in the WT. All the alphbets will ignore it. Yet another double standard by the press on display. Remember how they skewered Jenna and Barbara. Their bias is not longer something they try to hide.

...will get a wrist slap, no doubt And this is surprising how? You expect them to throw the book at him? Do 'hard time' like Jeb Bush's daughter? Face it, politicians from both parties will pull every string they can to keep their little Al juniors or Jebbette's out of jail.

Sept 5th and this is the 1st time we hear about this. If one of the Bush daughters were caught, there would be breaking news.
and this is much worse then what the Bush daughters did, they did not drive.
Wheres the news, wheres MADD. GDF Libs.

I was going to say - I hear all this stuff about Jenna and Noelle Bush, but have rarely heard about the pothead Gore kids. Nothing to see here folks, move along...
To: Liz
Oh no... I guess that means he can't run for President like daddy... After all for Bush it was bad, bad, bad...

Sickening! He must be disenfranchised..LOL
Anyway after the constant harping on Jenna, Laura and Noelle Bush I hope this gets some traction. Huge difference from underage drinking and a DWI while underage.
I guess Jr is trying to be cool like his Daddy, an Alpha Male.

Mr. Cabrera stressed that Mr. Gore was alone in the car and was not speeding. Is this somehow supposed to be the defense of his drunk driving? Was he profiled as if he was NOT speeding why was he pulled over?
Why don't they just get this kid help? His mom knows all about MENTAL ILLNESS.....right????

"...And this is surprising how? You expect them to throw the book at him? Do 'hard time' like Jeb Bush's daughter? Face it, politicians from both parties will pull every string they can to keep their little Al juniors or Jebbette's out of jail...."And yet many on this forum rush to heap scorn upon black activists who claim that the death penalty should be abolished becuase the US doesn't really practice "equal justice for all".
(I would have said something about poor white men on death row--but there are no activists to speak up for them.)

Well, lets see if the press plays up this story as much as they did the Bush Twins.Nah, hes a democrat, end of story.

I think you're on to something.

Don't Tipper and ALGOR realize it takes a village to raise a child?

Poor kid, drinking alone. Where are his friends???
To: Liz
Um, lets give the other side the consideration we all demanded when young Jenna got into some trouble. I am for taking the high road on this one and not linking the sins of the son to the father.
To: Liz
Anybody's kids can go bad, and you can't blame the parents for trying to straighten them out without jail time.
But there's a difference between this case and the Bush twins. DWI by someone who goes 97 MPH isn't funny. I tend to differentiate between someone who has a drink and carefully drives home and someone who gets drunk and speeds.
This kid is going to kill somebody if he isn't straightened out. The Bush twins were just naughty. He is potentially dangerous.

No, the press will not play up anything a Demonrat does wrong. Does anyone remember this kid being chased at over
100mph (while his dad was getting ready to accept the
Demonrat nomination?) the press HELD the story for a WEEK!
(by the way the original officer thought something was being thrown from the car)--move along nothing here--maybe Bush's
daughter is at frat party- lets go look.

I hear all this stuff about Jenna and Noelle Bush,
Why do you continue the leftist press practice of putting Jenna's minor alcohol infractions in the same league with Noelle's drug problem.
Al Gore III's DWI infraction is very serious, especially since this is no the first time.
