Finally a story about the problem child that isn't buried by the liberal press.
To: austingirl
This is the Washington Times.
It won't get any play from the other outlets.

I saw this reported by Brian Lamb on C-Span this morning. This followed a report of "more family troubles" for the Bush family - the President's brother Neil and his wife of 22 years are divorcing and "haven't lived as husband and wife since July". Fair and balanced. ;-)

I hear all this stuff about Jenna and Noelle Bush, but have rarely heard about the pothead Gore kids.
I do believe the story states he was under the influence of Alcohol so he is also a Boozer

Yup,they will subpeona the device used to clock Albert to check if it was calibrated properly, then they will subpeona any device used to alcohol test Albert to see if it was calibrated properly, then they will hammer the cops for any inconsistancy in the arrest, then they will pay for a couple expert witnesses to testify that the devices are not reliable and the cops did not administer the test correctly or were not properly trained to use the radar or administer the alcohol tests.
This is how people with deep pockets beat DWI charges, joe six pack goes directly to jail upon arrest to dry out, sees a judge and gets out after posting bail and then gets sentenced to treatment and AA.
MADD would be all over this kid if he wasn't a Gore.

NewsWeek Headline

Ah, such are the benefits of the priveledged elitists in our society.

"Al Gore III's DWI infraction is very serious, especially since this is no the first time."
I'm skeptical anything of consequence will happen to this son of a democrat elitist family. After all, I took 25 years to finally convict a Kennedy cousin of murder.
To: lexington minuteman 1775
Well, lets see if the press plays up this story as much as they did the Bush Twins.Nah, hes a democrat, end of story.Well, it's not as if he's the President's child....

Thank you, Electoral College.

I'm skeptical anything of consequence will happen to this son of a democrat elitist family If Al Gore III causes a serious or fatal accident in the future, Al Gore II might suffer political consequences, especially if he intervened this time to prevent his son paying for the consequences of his actions. Al Gore III needs to be intervened on before he injures or kills someone. If al Gore II were smart, he would make sure his son does not get preferential treatment but is treated like anyone else.
One thing I admire about the Bush family is that they have not spared their offspring the consequences of their actions. If they had been like the Kennedys, all records of W's 1976 arrest for DWI would have been destroyed. Also Jeb Bush appears to be giving his daugthter Noel tough love. If she is convicted on drug charges, I seriously doubt Jeb would pardon her.

Man, this'll be ALL OVER the nightly news tonight, huh?
To: Non-Sequitur
Again, I ask regarding Noelle Bush. Can anyone specifically tell me how she is being treated differently than any other similarly situated Floridian, or can anyone tell me specifically how her father has arranged her to receive some "special treatment". Frankly, I have not seen where Ms. Bush has received "special treatment" other than it being broadcasted by the media.
BTW, don't try to compare it to someone in another state because that it simply irrelevant as criminal laws are a state issue (as much as we can keep them that way).
