The nice thing about nuclear material is that you can sense it's presence from a long way away.

Not if you slap enough lead around it.

Daschle wouldn't dare allow a vote on Iraq now. His plan is to wait until after the November elections. By doing so, democrats who are putting this country at risk by their inaction won't have to show their true colors.
If Trent Lott wasn't such a capon he would call for an immediate vote on the full senate floor.

Lead will stop the gammas--but you need lots of low-density material (hydrogen, et cetera) to stop the neutrons.

What else do the islamofascists have in store for this week?
To: Brytani
Apparently you missed Trent Lott doing just that about an hour ago.

I feel so *safe*, don't You?

I'm still shocked nothing happened yesterday. I honestly believed somewhere in the world Islamic terrorists would carry out an act of terrorism to support their cause.

This could be HUGE. Or it could end up another dead end like the anthrax investigation. I hope it ends up pointing squarely back at Saddam.

This is VERY interesting. Saw the ship was sent further out into the harbor yesterday and was searched extensively at this time. If they're sending in Special Ops, that ratchets up the seriousness.

Fox says it's SEALS boarding...

I'm still shocked nothing happened yesterday. If this ship was 'the big one', then that would explain why yesterday was quiet. Perhaps the sleepers deliberately kept a low profile and avoided talking, to avoid tipping off what was coming? But I'm getting WAY ahead of myself -- we don't even know anything yet.
