Thank God, I have finally caught up to the thread. Nice job Howlin. I heard the speech, but didn't see a d-mn thing because I couldn't read this and watch the TV. Based on everything I have heard and read, it looks like we are attacking Iraq during the new moon in October (that is my position in the Attack Pool). McCain's remark that the Senate needs to vote before they recess, so that they won't be debating AFTER the fact seems to seal it. Since I didn't see him, did his appearance suggest that the cancer has metastisized?

You'll have to ask NautiNurse for a better medical description. She's our resident expert.

Based on everything I have heard and read, it looks like we are attacking Iraq during the new moon in October I still stand by my prediction that Bush is trying to get them to mount a coup in Iraq, and that there'll be no war. Even today he drew the line between Saddam and everybody else.
And the truth of the matter is: if Saddam himself goes, the country will dissolve in power struggles.

"looks like we are attacking Iraq during the new moon in October"Still too hot in October. We're gonna have to wear suits against gas, so my guess is January, Feb.

First, I noticed now weak McCain's voice sounded--had to wonder whether it is health related, or whether he was uncomfortable in his new position agreeing with President Bush.
Looking at him overall, he just didn't look very healthy. His scars were very obvious, and the area looked more sunken and drawn than ever.
