McCain's a smart enough politician to know that if he doesnt get on board, he'll be served up a good strong "can o' whoop ass" in good measure and quite quickly at that.

Yes, the President has opened up a can of that stuff on McCain before. LOL McCain knows it when he sees it and he doesn't want any more.
