I don't remember his name.....but a VERY popular ex-gov. in SD is going to be running against Daschle in 2004.

I plan on contributing heavily to his campaign.

A friend who lives there says that ousting Daschle is VERY VERY doable.

Tell your friends in South Dakota to oust Tim Johnson first. He is nothing but Daschle's little porkchop. Taking out Johnson is like driving a stake through the vampire's heart... it will help Daschle lose control over his caucus, because they will see that if he can't protect his junior senator in his home state, he certainly can't protect any of them.

I hope your friend is right. I have always been mystified how a Socialist RAT like Daschle can win election after election in state that is by and large conservative.
