I guess I did not know that Mr. Aqua. was a firefighter. Good on him.....and I am glad the community is showing signs of appreciation.

My girlfriend's son just began a career as a firefighter and he is simply amazed at the Community support they get-little old ladies bring them wonderful home cooked dinners (they are probably middle aged homemakers but when one is 23 anyone over 50 is a little old lady, ha ha), and business's send over food all the time. The guys at the station told him that most of the generosity began after 9-11-02 and they are all amazed that it has continued throughout the year.

The "little old ladies" have always brought them cakes and cookies after they have responded to their personal emergency but right after 911 everyone was bringing them food all the time for a while. It had slowed down for a while but they made up for it yesterday.
That's good to hear about your friends son, I'll bet he loves it.
