Today we pause to honor those who lost their lives when our nation was attacked on September 11, and to celebrate the courage and compassion that has since flowed from the American people. President Bush is commemorating this special day by visiting the Pentagon, the crash site of Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania and Ground Zero in New York City - places where American men and women became heroes in the face of devastating tragedy. As our nation comes together to honor their sacrifice I thought you would appreciate the President's words of hope and remembrance from this morning's historic ceremony at the Pentagon.
