I don't know, but it seems doubtful to me that they made an unscheduled stop. The ship does carry passengers, and it does have a schedule to keep. (It's true that they are a day late, though.)

She's a container ship, only carries 4 passengers, and freighter passengers are always warned about unscheduled stops. An unscheduled Red Sea stop could easily take place as a result of delays for Suez Canal transit.

I stand corrected on the possibility of unscheduled stops. Thanks for the information.

Wouldn't an extra stop have delayed it a bit? It was stopped yesterday (Sept. 10) by the Coast Guard, so it was on time or nearly so.
