because voting machines had not been shut down properly. We are going to trust our elections to flaky computers? I mean, what would happen to them in a power outage?

All I can say is it's a bitch when the Dems use computer back-doors against each other!
With a computer-only vote count there is not physical record to contest. If by either fluke or fraud there suddenly appear two sets of primary numbers, and those two set make a different candidate winner, it will be one expert's word against another as to which computer records are "real". Why can't FL residents just fill in the oval like the rest of us?
By the time the mudslinging is done between dems, Jeb will be looking good!

Optical scan is the best system. At the least they can be hand counted.

I would HOPE they are designed with a UPS(Un-interuptable power supply, battery backup),but, who knows....I really don't like the idea of voting electronically.

The Computers are probably set to default to a straight ticket Dimocrat vote!
