"Would you explain to me the expression "haberdasher"

Personally, I thought it was a hat-maker, just as cobblers are shoemakers, but Sultan obviously believes a haberdasher is a clothesmaker, as you were quoted as "working on a suit"...LOL!!

That's funny that sultan88 mentioned that. I like to sew. Been doing it since I was nine. I just forgot basic pattern tracing of clothes but sometime in my life I'd like to get back into sewing as I want to make my own clothes. I can't find anything worth wearing these days as I am petite. I never shop in department stores as everything I see these days is overpriced designer clothes that look cheap. The long skirts I see look tawdry. They remind me of something I'd use to make curtains with.
