Yes, indeed! The Mayor makes the best coffee. He isn't always able to come by everyday, so we bring it for him. Trust me...this is The Mayor's coffee.....strong and black, as requested. :-)

We had a 9-11 "United We Stand" ceremony in one of the local parks last night. The ceremony honored our Armed Forces and Veterans, Police and Firefighters (First Responders) and the citizens of the United States. It was a very moving experience and I hope to present some tidbits as the day progresses.
Here's a short teaser... The VFW was the Veterans group represented last night. Included in this group were 8 members of the San Joaquin Valley Association of Pearl Harbor Survivors. I had a wonderful chat with one of those men. More later.. I was a real social butterfly last night with all those Vets. I shook hands with most all of them and thanked them for their service.
