Bin Laden Pins Blame On Bill Clinton
Is the September 11th aftermath yet another Clinton administration mess that needs to be cleaned up? Consider the John Miller ABC News interview with Osama bin Laden conducted back in the late 90s.
It turns out that the Black Hawk Down situation was an Al-Qaeda operation, run in cahoots with the warlord there - Mohammed Farrah Aideed Sahib Skyhook. Bin Laden told Miller that Black Hawk Down was the turning point, and that the incident told Al-Qaeda we were weak-bellied and spineless, and could be had by a bunch of "skinnies" with rifles.
Just as the author of the book Black Hawk Down theorized, our quick, gutless exit out of there was a signal to terrorists around the world that we could be beaten. John Miller reported in 1998, "American intelligence agencies believe it was Bin Laden who dispatched his personal brigades with rocket launchers to shoot down U.S. helicopters..." and then rolled bin Laden's response to the charge.
"Our people realize more than before that the American soldier is a paper tiger that run in defeat after a few blows. America forgot all about the hoopla and media propaganda, and left dragging their corpses and their shameful defeat." -Osama bin Laden
Thank you, Bill Clinton. These are bin Laden's own words. I'm amazed ABC is going to run it. Clinton's name doesn't come up, and he has tried to claim that it was George H. W. Bush's fault though Clinton changed a humanitarian mission into one of "nation building" without adequately arming our men. That's what led to the deaths of our men in Somalia - and if you doubt that, please don't believe the Clinton spin. Read the book.

Well, Monica wasn't the only one left with a bad taste in her mouth after those absurd eight years of Slick Willie in the White House.

I'm not defending Clinton, but don't make such large generalizations. It was a Republican who cut his losses against the Chinese and North Koreans in the '50s and it was another Republican who took over in '68 only to pull us from Vietnam in '73. I also believe it was a Republican who blew a golden opportunity to get rid of Hussein in the Gulf War.
Unfortunately, there are no guarantees no matter who is in the White House.

Ragheads don't realize that the Americans only cut and run when the Democrats are in the White House. Implication: Expect to see more attempts on the part of Arab organizations to infiltrate our political process, through financial aid (for now), and other ways later.
Cynthia McKinney will be only an early example of this.

The US, the UN and the coalition all agreed that the objective was to get Iraq out of Kuwait, and that sanctions and the no-fly zone, which were all approved by the same parties, was the mechanism by which Saddam would be controlled.
It was Klintoon and the Democrats who let Saddam out of the bag by not wasting him the minute he kicked out the UN inspectors.
As usual, the GOP will make things right.
The Koreans are contained, the leftist press and hippies(the same ones trying to screw up our attack on Iraq) are the ones who got 57,000 brave Americans killed for nothing, Nixon pulled out because the LEFT HAD DESTROYED THE NATIONS WILL TO FIGHT.
Moderates are clueless.

Your short memory is showing --- Don't you remember how the dems and the left were up in arms about the blood bath in Iraq and how we needed to live by the UN mandate. Defend the toon all you want he will go down in history as a piece of crap.

The American left of the late 60s and early 70s did destroy America's resolve in Vietnam - These were the same people who brought us clinton - Sick morons who hate the US.

Not so. It was a Democrat, Truman, who allowed us to get placed in a police action, instead of winning the Korean War, even after MacArthur brilliantly saved the day with the landing in Inchon. Ike got us out of a mess.
And, in 1964, it was a Democrat, Lyndon Johnson, that allowed us to get sucked into a war that was based on a totally fabricated incident, the Gulf of Tonkin incident, and then we were not allowed to fight to win. Again a Republican had to finish the job. And it ended when we finally flexed our incredible military muscle and almost bombed Hanoi and Haiphong back into the Stone Age.
When we saw what they did to our prisoners of war, we should have gone back and finished the job.

Something like 3,000 to 5,000 skinnies were killed in that battle. The Aidid forces were defeated and later said they wouldn't have taken on the US again.
Of course the first mistake was going in in the first place. It was a case of George Bush 41's white guilt. "Oh, he was helping the white people in Bosnia and ignoring the Black people in Somalia." Bush started this, knowing he was turning it over to Clinton, whom he knew was a complete and utter sociopath.

Nixon had to pull the troops for Vietnam because the Democrat controlled House voted on zero dollars for the war in the 1974 budget. When IX42 sent the troops to Haiti and Bosnia, J. D. Hayworth brought this up every time there was a discussion on supporting our troops that IX42 deployed without consultation with congress.
Stormin Norman told congress to stay out of the day-to-day operations of the Gulf War and we accomplished our objective. Liberals were screaming we had no mandate to get Saddam but now they are revising history by saying Bush should have gone after him. Liberals will revise when ever it's to their advantage.
