THE DECISION to raise the threat assessment level from yellow indicating a serious threat of terrorist attack to orange came after U.S. intelligence learned of specific and credible threats against U.S. embassiesIf it's just about embassies, then why raise it domestically? We don't have any US embassies in this country.

I don't know, but the fact that they are deploying SAM's around DC, now this. They have some info...This does not look to be just a precaution, I think they have some solid intel of an attack. I say hit em first, the best defense is a good offence.

If it's just about embassies, then why raise it domestically? We don't have any US embassies in this country. Actually, that's not quite true. . . The U.S. does have a UN mission in NYC, and that counts as an embassy.
