What an interesting statistic (sick as the Jihadis are)... almost two-thirds of the attacks during one-fourth of the year... any ideas why? They can come out in the desert sun, but Ramadan hasn't kicked in yet?

We did not hold off anything last november as I recall.We started I believe in mid to late october in trashcanistan.Many on the left bood Bush for that.

No ideas as to why, although it is a curiosity. I was surprised to see this thread re-surface today since the info wasn't particularly well received on FR when I originally posted it. But strangely enough, the sniper attacks occurred mostly in October, and the perp is a radical Islamist sympathizer.

The timing with ramadama is unmistakable. It is the period right before and during ramadama.

ramadama is a month-long period of daylight fasting and sexual abstinence.

I think (1) being away from boy's bottoms, e.g. Malvo, for eight hours of daylight an entire month makes them even more unstable and (2) the purifying experience and religious significance of self-denial brings them closer to "God" and as such, makes jihadic acts all the more 'sensible'.

I doubt the next four weeks will be uneventful.

From this, I conclude that we have a 37% chance of being attacked from December to August.
