To help make the case for toppling Hussein, the White House is working hard to track down one graphic exhibit: a video, which is said to show Saddam presiding over the execution of one of his political opponents!
TIME magazine will report in Monday editions, Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar bin Sultan has told Bush about the video -- and the hunt is on.

Don't they have one where he is kicking a dog? Now that would make people really mad!

Y'know, once we're done with Iraq, maybe Mr. Bush will be open to looking at the Clinton Body Count. Perhaps then we'll see some real cleaning-house.

It's funny, but true. And sad.

This is not a game. Saddam is not an "opponent"
Moral relativism is soooo over.

They don't have it at Blockbuster? Try Amazon.

On Japanese tv about 10-11 years ago, I recall seeing a video, quite chilling, of Sadaam presiding over his national assembly, and then suddenly calling out the names of several he accused of being traitors and ordering their execution. Police walk down the aisles of the Assembly, seizing these men, some crying, and they are taken outside. They did not show the actual footage out in the street moments later when they were gunned down. But maybe this is the video they are looking for. Wish I could remember which Japanese Tv network, but it was not NHK for sure.

IIRC, at least a bit of this video was on the PBS episode of their FrontLine series
titled "Gunning For Sadaam", which aired last November and again this year.
Hey, that video was the NICE side of Sadaam!

Even if we had a different President- Saddam is a danger to me, personally, an American. I want something done about him. I gives a damn who the President is- it could be you for that matter- Saddam has got to go.

"...the White House is working hard to track down one graphic exhibit: a video, which is said to show Saddam presiding over the execution of one of his political opponents!" Too bad they can't come up with footage of him giving us the finger and refusing to say he's sorry for the murders he committed.
That would reeeeeally enrage the American Left.
Osama Yo Mamma and Sodamninsane are really stupid! If they wanted the DemocRAT majority in America to let them off the hook for 9-11, all they have to do is go on the air, shed a few tears, and say "I'm sorry".

"So the White House wants the video of Saddam assassinating his opponent in order to drum up support for President Bush assassinating his opponent?" Welcome to FR. (Macross Jem signed up 2002-07-20)
The feminized Left's distorted, emotion-driven perspectives of what they think are examples of moral equivalency cuts no ice with those capable of critical thought.

Maybe they should ask the Clintons. The Clintons always seem able to produce letters, videos, etc., within days of needing "evidence." Curiously, they never seem able to find subpoenaed documents.

Cute attempt at moral equivalence.
Did Saddam's opponents plot to kill millions? Has Bush killed any of his political foes in the past? Think before you write next time.

According to it, his mother had a premonition and unsuccessfully tried to abort him.
