Ponder this situation: what if an attack on an office building takes place? Do you tell your management that you a) don't plan on coming in to work until they produce a reasonable security plan or b) let them know that you plan on arming yourself.
Let's face it: there aren't enough police or rent-a-cops to protect us.
I work for a subsidiary of a Global 10 company - and firearms even in the car is verboten. I do note that there is a current initiative in the company for increased security, including visible employee I.D., access to buildings and the usual computer system security.
