So the story breaks Friday, but the US media doesn't put it out until 5pm Saturday, when most people aren't watching news channels...
It could be because the story that broke on Friday doesn't say anything about "Iraq Six Months Away From Having Nuclear Weapon!" I clicked on FoxNews and there is currently no "Fox Alert" saying anything about Iraq being six months from having nukes. Perhaps Fox misread its own story and has now changed its headline, if the headline ever said this in the first place.

You are right about the article. That was my mistake because I jumped to the conclusion that they knew more yesterday than they were telling.

I turned on Fox after this thread started, and I heard them mention it again myself a few minutes later.

I just listened to the Fox update at the beginning of the hour. While I didn't get it down verbatim, the news girl said

President Bush referred to a report published in 1998 which said that Iraq's acquisition of a nuclear bomb could be 6 months away.

I'm sure this will be discussed more sometime this weekend, so we should get a clearer picture within the next 24 hours.

Sorry for the long delay between responses, but I'm trying to get ready to go out for a while :)
