This is no different than having the teacher tell the children to go out and kill.

excellent post. Alas, I think from what I have seen of who is in charge in public schools, I think they are perfectly comfortable with this agenda.
I bet they're coming after our precious bodily fluids!

This guy is a simpleton, must be those public schools.

Hey, Mr. Hauslaib, Let the Afghani books cover it from whatever perspective they want. American books are supposed to reflect American biases, maroon. Exactly, I always heard that history was written by the victors.
When I was stationed in Germany, I met a woman who told me that when she was a little girl, she always asked her grandfather why they drove such a little car when the Americans always had such big cars, and he always responded, "Because they won the war."

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The one year anniversary is almost upon us.
Why? What's wrong with that one sentence?
An anniversary is generally thought of as a celebration.....

The author of this tripe will wind up doing 20/20 updates on WFAN. A pity the journalism types at Syracuse don't ask their students to examine the life of a truly great Orangeman, an athlete and a scholar and a Patriot, Marty Glickman. An Olympian in 1936, denied his shot at Gold by the anti semitism of Avery Brundage. A Marine with VMF214 in the Pacific and the man who created play by play basketball.
A man to be emulated by today's Syracuse students. But who do these pygmies respect? Noam Chomsky.

Sounds more like the Daily Red.

One's terrorism is another's freedom fightTypical liberal cop out. This seems to be the main argument of the liberal masses to justify their indignation of American patriotism. One man's terrorist is another man's patriot is complete bullsh*t. It' just another liberal excuse not to think.

If I were editor of this paper, that opening line would be grounds for instant termination. Oh, read on. It gets even "better".
Second paragraph, last sentence:
"It would be mildly understandable to give textbook publishers the benefit of the doubt that they will perform amicably, but that would not be realistic."
To: JimRic54
An anniversary, by definition, marks the passage of a year. "One year anniversary" is redundant. This September 11th is the First Anniversary of September 11, 2001.
To: Arthur McGowan
You are correctly right. ;)

I thought so, in my mind.
