Is the author familiar with who the Franks were. The Franks were Germans who migrated to the soughwest of france and the northern part of Spain. There was a Frankish kingdom for a brief period. It seems to have spontaneorsly dissolved and the population was absorbed into nothing. Look in the historical atlasses for a record.

There was an American kingdom for a brief time. It spontaneously dissolved and it's citizens were absorbed into nothing. Before we throw rocks we better look at our own less than wonderful situation. This nation is well on it's way to losing it's national identity. Legalize them all and be done with it. Cheap labor will solve everything.
