So, the pot calls the kettle "black!" My facts are ham-handedly dismissed as "government propaganda," being "irrelevant," or "out and out lies." I've been called a Federal Agent, a Disruptor, and a Drug Warrior among other things.

The fact remains, these Pro-Marijuana threads are pep rallies for Pot. You don't want an opposing point of view, or a discussion. You just want everybody to agree with you. So, I just enjoy pissing off all of you potheads!

You are absolutely wrong. There are many FReepers who are for the WODS, yet are well respected because they are capable of conducting a civil converstaion.

I'll admit that I am often guilty of hurling insults, but you will never find an instance of my starting it. You and your buddies seem to be impressed by that tactic, so I figure why not run with it.

Maybe if you'd actually post some "facts" instead of propaganda you might find things easier...

I stopped reading at post #71, but I'll read the rest when time allows. You appear to have been taken in by the government's propaganda reguarding marijuana as they attempt to justify their ruling to keep it illegal. POT and alcohol are very similar, except that those who smoke POT generally get too "laid back" to beat their wives or children -- unlike many alcoholics (and alcohol is legal!!.

Further, marijuana is not a "spiral" drug, like cocaine and heroine. Smoking POT is no more condusive to stronger drugs than alcohol is. Our current war on drugs is a farce, no more effective than the war against alcohol was during prohibition. There could be no harm in legalizing POT which is so equal to alcohol. The results would be phenominal. There would be vastly more room in our prisons for real criminals. Teenagers caught with POT would be treated the same as teenagers with alcohol -- no criminal record or jail-time that destroys their future.

The USA should adopt the proposal on the Nevada ballot. Three ounces or less would not be an offense, provided it is used only in the privacy of ones home. The government has no right to determine what its citizens choose to do in the privacy of their homes -- unless the welfare of others is threatened. And in anticipation of your response to that, the welfare of those in the home is actually less threatened by POT than by alcohol abuse.
