Ah, it's refreshing to see Senator Daschle continuing his duty as head Democrat to weaken and undermine the USA.
By the way, how come no quotes from Gephardt?

"I would think the United States would want to be in the same position it was at the point when we went to the U.N. in the early 90s [for the Persian Gulf War]," Daschle said. "If the international community supports it, if we can get the information we've been seeking, then I think we can move to a resolution. "But short of that, I think it would be difficult for us to move until that information is provided and some indication of the level of international support is also evident," he added.
So Daschle's belief is even if he "gets the information" he needs (intelligence proof of Saddam's complicity in international terrorism) he wouldn't support doing the right thing (overthowing Saddam) unless everybody else in the "international community" agrees.
I'm not sure what to call that but it sure the hell isn't Leadership.

Other sources told Fox News that, in addition, there is new intelligence that Saddam has developed new means to deliver chemical and biological weapons and finally that there is intelligence information indicating that Saddam's regime has been in contact with Al Qaeda before and after the 9/11 terror attacks. The "new means" and Al Qaeda are one and the same thing.

There is nothing new about this. We all know that Saddam and every other tin horned dicktator wants a nuke. This is just propaganda designed to provoke those who may be a little iffy about going to war.
Lets stomp saddamn once and for all, then defund the damn UN.

"Despite the new information, Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D., told Fox News he remains reluctant to support military action."
At the end of a victorious war with Iraq, I am conviced that Senator Daschle will still be contemplating the worth of our stifleing this tyrants WMD build up..as long as it's a Republican that is the reason for the victory.
Daschle shows his primary concerns time and time again and that is his partys well being NOT the American peoples well being.

Arab League chief Amr Moussa charged Thursday that any strike by the U.S. would "open the gates of hell" in the Middle East, and urged Baghdad to readmit weapons inspectors. So the gates of hell are found within the middle east ? How can that be if the US is the "Great Satan".
But this does give us another reason to rid the world of the problem. Get rid of the gates and the 'gates to hell' can no longer be opened !

Daschle said. "If the international community supports it, if we can get the information we've been seeking, then I think we can move to a resolution. Sure seems to be quite a few "if's" in this old boy's little statement.
Why the heck do we need international support to accept a bunch of Iraqi POW's as they will surrender right away, after the first couple of B52 runs.
But then maybe we'll need someone to feed and watch over them in some way other than the way we are doing it at GitMo? I'm glad to see this heating up, time to kick some butt, and if some other middle east country wants to fire up on us or Israel, they too will learn what POW status is like or how ugly those virgins waiting for them really are.
Personally, I'm about worn out hearing about those tough guys pushing around their locals, and seeing that same old fart running up to kiss Saddam at various places in Iraqi news footage. They need a new cast of supporting actors.

Little other than a western style representative democracy with a thriving economy in Iraq would so destabilize the Arab world.
If our children and grandchildren are to see any peace, we must destroy this generation of murdering jihadists who plan Pan-Islam's new world order. Baath Party leadership should be hanging by Holloween.
We were attacked. We don't need any UN or international coalition. If NATO members take a pass, we should pull our dolars out of Europe so fast it'll make their Euro spin.

Despite the new information, Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D., told Fox News he remains reluctant to support military action. What's it going to take Tom? Be specific.
- A biological weapon attack?
- A chemical weapon attack?
- A nuclear attack?
- Which city or cities need to be attacked first?
- Exactly how many people need to die before you support military action?
Be brave! Show your leadership! Be the first Democrat to set the standard for Saddam to meet before you'll consider him a treat!

Looks like England and Australia will be assisting. We wont be entirely alone. Its time for freedom loving patriots around the world to end the threat and avenge 9/11. We faced stronger threats in the past (thousands of Soviet nukes), but we have not faced such a modern diabolical threat. The islamic extremists (in all their various flavors) however, have no idea what is coming to get them. Allah himself wont even be able to save em.
