As a Christian, it would be a sin for me withdraw and not express the kindness and truth of the LORD to those who practic homosexuality and other non-believers. That's one of the reasons folks hate Christians - they won't get in the box, sit down, shut up, and keep to themselves.

Echo? Perhaps. Validate? Hardly... Temptation is not the reason I don't associate with homosexuals: repulsion is.

I feel much the same way when in the presence of a hardened criminal for exactly the same reason.

You are a reflection of the company you keep. I am not saying you cannot live among them. I am saying, choose your friends wisely. It's only smart.

No Christian FReeper would suggest that you not have gays as friends. However, any Christian FReeper would let their gay friend know about the fact that there is a way out of homosexuality. Any Christian FReeper would also watch their children around a gay friend.
