The democraps continue thier destructive campaign to divide this counrty through their socialist policies. One of these it will come down to the simple fact of them getting their heads knocked off by our fellow patriots.

This is an outrage and ought not to be tolerated. Isn't there a way to bypass this obviously obstrucionist, partisan committee?

Someone should tell Vacant Lott to stop whining. When we had control of the Senate, he wanted to "share" power with the dems, Mr. Goody two shoes. Well the dems gave him his share ok, where the sun does'nt shine, now we are paying for it. What a socialist RINO idiot he is.

I think this will somehow make the Democrats look small to Americans whose minds are on other things and think congresses should be too. (From soon to be deleted duplicate thread)

Yes, on November 5 remember to vote GOP and take a friend or neighbor to the polls with you.

We must win the Senate. This is a vital election.
Anyone know what's the best split we can hope for in the Senate? Can we get up to 55-45? 57-43? 60-40?
Are any of those possible?

I sure hope so. I will give our enemies credit for covering their base constituients. The Party of baby killers, gun confiscation, income redistribution, diversity as destruction, race baiting, placing more value on trees and animals than human beings, and appeasement.
We have our work cut out for us.

I have just contacted both of my senator's offices (both dems unfortunately) and requested they formally, on the senate floor or to the media, denounce the decision by the Judiciary Committee! HA. I know it won't happen, but the staffers on the distant end certainly were stifled by my comments to them and couldn't even answer my simple question of where my own senator's stood on this matter.

Surprise, surprise.

My prediction is that we pick up 4 seats: Wellstone's, (MN), Johnson's (SD), Carnahan's (MO) and Torricelli's (NJ). That makes it 53-46-1.

"I hope to God Bush comes out and hammers these jerks." These jackasses are so single-minded in their efforts to topple our government and turn this into a socialist country that they don't even notice when they are being hammered. They need to be destroyed. The Democratic party has far outlived any benefit it may ever have been to American society.

Another one.

My two rat senators Kohl and Feingold voted against her. Shame on them.

This is so low. Orrin Hatch was on the 700 Club last night...said that this would be (IS) the first time in history that a nominee who received a
highly qualified rating from the ABA was rejected. The un-American People for the American Way provided lies to the NY Times..who printed up a slanderous story on Priscilla Owens...and our Senate Judiciary Committee put politics ahead of justice for the American people, again. This is beyond dishonorable.
For the record, Robert Kennedy as AG recommended some attorneys who didn't even rate a "qualified" from the ABA in 1963.
FoxNews cut away from the Republican press conference before it was half-way through...and none of the other cable news networks carried it at all...though CNN, MSNBC, C-Span bring us Daschle-Kennedy-Gephardt press conferences when Daschle snaps his little finger, it seems.

sl thanks for posting this.
PKM, just another reason why we must defeat a whole lot of morally degenerate Senator Rats up for re election this November.
