Libertina. You truly are an inspiration. I was profoundly affected by your following statement:

"Returning home a few months before the election I was shocked to find that Republican was a dirty word, Boy Scouts were a hate group, and NAMBLA was operating in full public view. It was an outrage."

For many of us living in the states the changes were so subtle and most of us felt so isolated in our belief that something was terribly wrong.

Your further comment about how you felt when you felt when finding Free Republic also struck a chord, I'm sure for most of us. Thank God for people like you and thank God for Free Republic.
