Say what? The media has been wanting to go to war with Iraq?
Yes, they have been constantly goading the American viewing public about Iraq since 9/11. At first there were plenty of stories of connections with the Hijackers, then the stories of Battle Plans against Iraq (not news - we have a battle plan to invade every square foot of this Earth, even our own back yard), and now they are creating this great drama over will he/won't he.
Hating Saddam is easy to do, even the right thing to do. The media is manipulating that energy. Its all about selling products and keeping the viewer interested to do so.
Yet the forces are not there. I do not feel we are serious about hitting Iraq at the present time. Again, just my opinion.
Don't get me wrong, though. I don't want to sound like the media is manipulating us into a war...but I do feel they would like an attack to happen. Good for ratings.
