On a now locked thread, you mentioned that California politics are depressing. They are. But the hope remains alive that enough Davis haters will stay home and Simon will win. There's, as I'm prone to say, a long way to votin' time.

As to the rest of the California Legislature, mostly 'Rats, I do not see much hope there these days. *heavy sigh*
