I remember the days when I first started lurking on FR, before the MFJ, and all the superb work that was done on this site. Every once in a while, one of those freepers comes to mind and I realize how much the forum has changed.

I realize how much the forum has changed.

It certainly has, firebrand! Do you remember A Whitewater Researcher and Ed Millar?

AWR preceded us in research and compilation on Free Republic. And Ed provided daily and weekly thread recaps and lots of resources.

I've never seen that kind of commitment on FR-wanna-be sites.
