If it is to protest the eco-terrorists, then I would have no problem you protesting them. However, I know how the media uses these things, and they will say that Freepers or Conservatives are protesting in favor of the WTO. The whole thing will be spun around, and in the end, we'll have problems anyway. We should all be protesting the World Bank, WTO and IMF. Hey, through the UN in as well. I have no problem with protesting as long as both groups (World Bank/IMF/WTO & Eco-terrorists) are protested and in plain visible site. Example, on a poster board.

I hear you TOTALLY. Please note our signs are very specific to the causes of theirs that we oppose. We do NOT have e.g. PRO-global signs!! We have signs mocking their claim that the nation should not defend itself or that the war is "terrorist." I had a sign that said "Rally Against Terrorism, Not Your Country" in response to many signs claiming the war was racist. That sign is actually near the center of a photograph that's the subject of a separate thread. I'll find it and Freepmail it to you, 'cause it shows a lot of the DC Chapter members last year protesting against this group and you can see for yourself what the messages were. You'd have no problem with the signs, I betcha.

I'm completely patient with you on this one because their supposed rallying slogan IS CONFUSING. But the reality of who they are and what they represent is not. Hey trust us, the DC Chapter's not dumb!

No you don't, and no it won't. Look, there are plenty of threads here documenting past counterprotests by freepers against the anti-capitalists, and most of them link or quote press coverage. Please show me ONE instance where what you fear in this case has happened in the past.

The DC Chapter is very focused, their signage will be unambiguous, and they know how to handle the press. The fact is the press wouldn't do a conservative group the "honor" of suggested they were pro-IMF. There is simply no demonstrable basis for your concern.

And if the cameras capture the web address and report on us, so much the better- then people can find FreeRepublic and find out what we are about. That beats the snot out of not being heard.

And I've got news for you- the Greens are every bit the threat that the terrorists of 911 are. they have been working diligently to prevent us from mounting a defense against biological weapons. They have been carrying water for both Iraq and for terrorists. They have been slandering US scientists and researchers, to our detriment. They're at the forefront of rendering the US too weak to do anything unilaterally. Nothing could be more dangerous to our sovereignity.
